The Right Decontamination Equipment to do the job.

SAFCO has a large range of products which can be used for decontamination incidents. Our key aim is to provide equipment of high quality and construction. Our products are used by NHS Ambulance Trusts, Hospitals and Police CBRN teams througout the UK.

The equipment offered includes Hi Visibility clothing, Patient Transfer, Tentage, Folding Furniture and Disrobe/Rerobe Kits along with many other ancillary items.

We've been developing equipment with the help of many clients, in order to make the job safer and easier. We do this by discussing the areas of concern, developing ideas and then coming up with prototypes until we've succeeded in providing the solution.

Using this philosophy helps us better understand our customers needs and produce/source the right product while building a lasting relationship with the customer so they'll keep coming back again and again.

During discussions with the Greater Manchester Decon Team from The North West Ambulance Service, they wanted a form of Trestle to assist in the Decontamination of casualties through the NHS Decontamination Showers. After our meetings we went away to the drawing board and came up with the Folding Trestle.

Supplied in sets of 3, each Folding Trestle is constructed from 25mm Electrical Resistance Welded (ERW) lightweight steel box section.

Each trestle has a safe working load capacity of 150kgs however each set is load tested and certificated to 210kgs.

They are powder coated and have a flat base for use on pallets within the decontamination shower. This stops any risk of puncturing the base of the shower unit.
